We design, build and install commercial millwork and casework for Ontario fit-outs — built for commercial traffic, not scaled-up residential cabinetry.

  • Site measurement after framing, so nothing is built to a drawing the building disagrees with
  • Blocking and structural backing installed while the walls are still open
  • Scribed, levelled and fitted on site by the same team that coordinated the build
  • Touch-up, adjustment and hardware tuning before handover

Millwork is one of the two things people notice about a finished commercial space — the other is the lighting. We treat it as a headline capability, which means the detailing is ours to get right and ours to fix.

Built for commercial life

A reception desk takes ten years of bags dropped on it and cleaner sprayed at it. We specify substrates, edging and hardware for that reality, which is a very different specification from a nice kitchen.

Coordinated with the trades, because we are the trades

Power in the desk, data at the cash wrap, a drain under the bar, blocking behind the display wall. When the same builder is running the electrical and framing, the millwork arrives to a space that is genuinely ready for it.

How it runs

From first walk-through to keys

Same sequence every time, so you always know what happens next.

  1. Step 01

    Design and shop drawings

    We work from your layout or draw it with you, then issue shop drawings showing dimensions, materials, hardware and every integrated service. Nothing gets cut until you have signed those.

  2. Step 02

    Materials and samples

    You see and approve the actual finishes — laminate, veneer, solid surface, edge profile, hardware — before the order goes in. Screens flatter materials; samples do not.

  3. Step 03

    Site measure, then fabricate

    We measure once the framing is up and the openings are real, then build. Fabricating to a drawing rather than to the building is how millwork ends up scribed with a two-inch filler.

  4. Step 04

    Install, adjust, hand over

    Delivered and installed into prepared blocking, scribed and levelled, hardware adjusted, touched up and cleaned. Then it becomes the thing your customers lean on.

Can you build from my designer’s drawings?

Yes, and we will review them first for buildability, hardware selection and anything that fights the Building Code or an accessibility requirement. Design drawings are usually intent rather than construction detail, so we convert them into shop drawings and get your designer’s sign-off before fabrication.

How far ahead do you need to start millwork?

Earlier than most people expect. Between drawing approval, material availability and fabrication, custom millwork is frequently the longest lead item in a fit-out — which is why we release it in the first week of a project rather than after the drywall is up. Delay the sign-off and it becomes the item everyone waits on.

What does commercial millwork cost?

It moves with linear footage, the top material, the amount of integrated power and lighting, and how much of it is a one-off shape. A straight counter in laminate and a curved reception desk in solid surface with a lit logo wall are entirely different projects. We quote from drawings so you can see which decisions carry the money.

Do you do millwork on its own, without the rest of the build?

We do, for clients who already have a contractor or who are refreshing one element of an existing space. We will need site access to measure and coordinate blocking and services with whoever is doing that work — and we are straightforward about it: results are better when the same team controls the rough-in.
