Good Crews Get Built Too

We hire people who take the finish personally. If that's you, we want to know about it — whether or not a posting is open today.

01Working at GIRDER

What the job is actually like

Commercial interiors across Brampton and the GTA. Restaurants, pharmacies, clinics, salons, retail and offices — a different space every few months, and a real handover at the end of each one. Sites are indoors, hoarded, WSIB-covered, and swept at the end of every shift.

  • Steady work, not feast and famine

Commercial fit-outs run year-round and indoors. Winter does not empty the schedule.

  • You will be trusted

Small crews, real responsibility. Nobody here spends a career holding a broom for someone else.

  • Safety is not a poster

WSIB coverage, current certifications, daily hazard assessments, and the right gear on hand.

  • The finish matters here

If you take pride in a scribe nobody else would notice, you will fit in fast.

03How to apply

Email us. That's it.

No account to create and no fifteen-field form. Email info@girderconstruction.ca with your resume attached and the role in the subject line — the buttons above fill that in for you.

Tell us what you've built, where you're based, and which certifications you're current on. If there's a fit, someone from the office calls you. If there isn't, we keep the resume on file rather than pretending otherwise.

What we look for

  • You show up. Every trade skill can be taught. Reliability can't.
  • You finish things. The last two per cent of a job is where reputations are made or lost.
  • You speak up early. A problem raised on Monday is a schedule note. The same problem on Friday is a change order.
  • You leave it clean. We build beside other people's open businesses. It matters.

Girder Construction Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer. Accommodation is available on request for applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process — tell us what you need at info@girderconstruction.ca or (905) 000-0000.
